It was a busy day in Butler Park on Sunday Feb 1./ We did 182 servings of hamburger stew along with hard boiled eggs, sandwiches, bananas, treats, baked goods and hot drinks. There was coffee and hot chocolate. There were also chips, cookies and salad dressings donate. Mr Wright was there with his crowd favorite donuts. There was some warm clothes donated to those that need them. Thank you to the lady who knitted a bag of hats. They were much appreciated. Thank you to Shoppers drug mart Meadowlark for their donations weekly. Thank you to Dale Desjarlais for extra sandwiches. We are a group that is not funded by any level of government. We run exclusively by donation only. Any donations can be dropped at Hosanna Lutheran Church. Etransfers can be made through their website at hosannalutheran.ab.ca We are always welcoming volunteers and have a number of positions available. Some are just an hour or two a week, some are much more of a commitment. If you are interested in volunteering please contact us here.
