It was rainy again in Butler Park on Sunday. After everything was set up it stopped for a short time and then started again. Our friends arrived very wet and hungry. We served about 220 servings of spaghetti with cheese on top. With hard boiled eggs, peanut butter and jam sandwiches, with lots of treats. We also had lots of grapes donated so our friends got some fresh fruit this weekend. This week were blessed with donations from 2 different Cob’s bakeries. Hot chocolate, coffee and orange juice are always gratefully received. Thank you to all the volunteers who braved the rain. We had lots of kids helping us as well. They were a great help. Thanks to Mr Wright who was back with his donuts. He was missed over the past few weeks. Thank you to Cob’s bakeries for giving us donations of bread and sweets this week. Thank you to Hosanna Lutheran Church for allowing us to use their kitchen and accepting donations for us.
