It was a beautiful sunny day in Butler Park today. Heavy rain in the early morning and then the sun came out as we were serving our friends. We served 400+ hamburgers with cheese, tomatoes, ketchup and mustard and pasta salad. There were goodies, sweet treats, Chips, water, pop, some fresh veggies, yogurt, bread. Thanks to Pastor Can for the coffee, tang and iced tea. Also thanks to the volunteers at the park today. We had some new volunteers but am terrible with names so can’t name them. Thanks you to Shoppers Drug Mart for their donations this week. We are not funded by anyone and all donations go directly to the people we feed. Any donations can be made to Hosanna Lutheran Church with a note saying HTH. Also we are always looking for volunteers. We cook the food on Friday mornings at the Hosanna Lutheran Church, heat everything up on Sunday mornings, transport everything we need to the park, set up and take down all the tables and awnings.
