March 9th

It was a wet day on Sunday in Butler Park. We served approx. 175 servings of Turkey noodle soup. With lots of treats and snacks and eggs for all. As usual Pastor Cam for the hot chocolate and coffee. He warms people with his drinks and prayers. Thanks to Shoppers Drug Mart, and Theresa for providing most of the treats. And Roy for the blankets and mattress pads. Also for the clothes we had donated. We do not receive funding from the government or any other organization. Donations can be made to Hosanna Lutheran church. Please put HTH in the comments. We are looking for volunteers. We need someone 1 or 2 Sunday mornings from 9 am to about 1 pm. Heating food, boiling eggs and getting everything ready for the park. Also if anyone can drive the U-Haul for us on Sundays. We load everything for the park into the truck, take it to the park and set everything up. Then take everything back from the park.
