It was a much warmer day on Sunday in Butler Park. The sun shone and there was slight breeze. The line ups were long but everyone was fed. We served 200 servings and extras went to feeding people at the Health and Wellness center. There were lots of food to hand out this week: canned goods, sweet treats, sandwiches that were not PB&J, twinkies, and other extras.
Thank you to the Food bank for weekly donations. Shoppers Drug Mart, Clara and her 2 sons, the regular volunteers in the Park, Hosanna Lutheran Church and the person who brought clothes to the Park.
We are not funded by any corporation or government. All funds go directly to helping the people in the Park. Donations can be made to HTH through Hosanna Lutheran Church, just put HTH in the comments.
