It was only -8 ? Yesterday but feels like -20 at BUTLER PARK because of the wind. Nevertheless THE HELPING THE HOMELESS Group still managed to warm the hearts of many of our poor families, homeless friends, & the vulnerable because we served them hot pasta with fresh ground beef tomato sauce & cheese. Cooked in perfections by our kind volunteers with lots of love in their hearts. Then there were bonus slices of pizza from the hutterites Pastor Sandy so kind to bring them for our friends at BUTLER Park. Thank you Mirriam of the Hutterites Colony. They love the pizza & pasta. Good combination. Everyone was fed. Happy & they end their meals with treats courtesy of Shoppers Drug Mart, the Food Bank, Theresa & Paul Cloutier. Then there were clothes also. 2 angels that were spreading their wings named Blondy & Pank Gee who collected clothes in their apartment building. The people enjoyed shopping for free new clothes. Best of all those that are unhoused can now changed into new & clean clothes. Thank you guys so much. Big thank you to Roy who continues to catch these clothes & blankets for HTH. God loves you Roy & your help is appreciated. Many thanks to Pastor James & his parishioners at Hosanna Lutheran church. Where they let us cook in their AHS approved kitchen.
