It was a cool day in the park. The wind was chilly. Spring is coming but slowly. We dished 230 servings of cowboy stew, a park favorite. There were lots of treats, chocolates, cereal, buns, peanut butter and jam sandwiches and hard boiled eggs. Everyone went home with a large bag of food and a hot meal. Also we have hot coffee and hot chocolate during the winter. Thank you to Mr Wright, who’s donuts are very popular everyday. Thank you Roy Fabricius for the blankets. They were much appreciated. Plenty of people are asking for blankets this spring. Thank you St Vincent de Paul and Cobs for the extra bread and buns. Thank you Shopper’s Drug Mart for the weekly donations of treats, juice, toiletries, etc. Thank you to all our volunteers and all who donate to us so we can continue to help everyone who asks for food. We are not sponsored by any level of government. Everything we do and give is funded by donations. Any donation can be made to Hosanna Lutheran church in person or by etranfer through their website.
