WE may not be able to mention our appreciation to the (HTH) HELPING THE HOMELESS in the West End volunteers all the time, but God sees more of what you’re doing than any of us. Deep in our hearts, seeing you lift a tote or tables or roasters or make sandwiches, or drive the uhaul or wash the dishes, stir the food cooking in the stove, is like a prayer in itself. You are fulfilling what God said, “do you love me Peter? Feed my lamb.” It is very inspiring & admirable that Our HTH VOLUNTEERS quietly just do what they can contribute so others can eat too.. our hungry brothers & sisters who are deprived of the basics in life such as food. They can at least eat hot meals every Sunday when we are the only food provider in the west end for the days that mustard seed is closed (who also gives them food from mon- thursday). So comes Friday & Saturday these friends of ours do not eat until we come on Sunday at 2 pm. So, many many thanks from the bottom of our hearts TO HTH VOLUNTEERS. So selfless, so loving, so giving & so understanding. Please join OUR TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS. Our present ones, although they’re so resilient but they also need some rest. If you come & help we can also give our volunteers a little break. We need all the help that we can get. If you’re called to help, please just come to Butler Park- 157 Street & Stony Plain Rd.
