Mother’s Day

Hi to everyone, Hope you enjoyed Mothers Day. Butler Park was a busy place. Before we started serving we had a line up of 86 people needing a meal. The meal was a Goulash, we handed out 210 servings, 326 Hard Boiled Eggs, 462 PBJ sandwiches along with Water. The clothing was busy as always with a different set up trying to keep it orderly, it seemed to work well. Special Thank You to every Volunteer that came out to Help during this important day for Mothers. We are in desperate need of women’s and men’s socks and underwear along with hygiene products. Medium to Large Duffle bags are needed along with tarps to sleep under. We also have a request for a walker and a wheel chair. With an early start with the fire season we are already seeing new faces for the northern part of Alberta. Every week we are also seeing more single parents with children. More seniors and also families living in their vehicles with children. Could be a very busy year.

The best part of this group is we are a mixture of several denominations plus a few non believers. Combine we are just one big family desiring to make a difference in many lives. If anyone would like to participate with us we will welcome you. Thank you to everyone one who Helps to Prepare the meals. Thank you to everyone who helps to make 400+ PBJ sandwiches. Thank you goes to every Volunteer who Helps to make this Happen every Sunday. Thank You to everyone who is able to donate. Thank You for Reading this. The group needs are peanut butter, jam, potatoes, onions and carrots. Every donation is a Huge Help.
