We are in dire need of volunteers please. We feed many poor families & many homeless in the West end. There’s no many feeding centers in the west end unlike downtown. It is heart wrenching to see families coming with children but all the food is gone. That’s because we can’t make more due to lack of volunteers. Mustard seeds provides breakfast all day at Stony Plain Road but it stops on I think Friday at 4pm. Then the poor & homeless in our community just don’t eat from Friday at 4 until we come on Sundays at 2. If you have it in your heart to help please DM me. Even just to do the simple washing of the aprons & rugs from the kitchen you can do it in your own homes or spend 1 hr or less washing pots after the feeding at 4 at the church kitchen. It will help a lot. Or drive the uhaul from 12N -4 pm on Sundays. Or serve at the park where you will see the faces of our forgotten brothers & sisters. It is a very thankless job. We will please God who said, “Do you love me Peter? Feed my sheep.” We don’t seek glory nor praises from anybody. We only want to feed others so they can eat too like any of us.
