November 3

It was another nice Fall Sunday afternoon Nov. 3rd. The HELPING THE HOMELESS” (HTH) Good Samaritan Group once again has given out over 220 hot meal dishes to our hungry homeless & poor brothers & sisters at Butler Park which were baked potatoes fresh from the farm topped with hot chili, cheese & Naan bread. Plus treats, beverages + PB & J sandwiches. Cooked with the love of Christ & humanity. All these are made possible by the tireless volunteers who doesn’t want any praises but only to serve our fellow human beings. And to Hosanna Lutheran Church who lend us their kitchen to cook for over 300 people every Sunday. And who also received & give tax receipts to any monetary donors in behalf of HTH. Because we are not government nor any org. funded , we mainly rely on donations. If not, we the volunteers put our monies together so others can eat. Hosanna L. Church has been such a pillar to us in this endeavor. We are all volunteer based no one is on salary so all donations goes 100% towards food…Behind the scenes are tremendous works that we do in preparing for Sunday. So if you feel it in your hearts to come & help us, please DM me. Today we have to thank our special guest who is the inspector of AHS. To see if we are imposing & following the strict & rigid requirements of AHS in serving the community.. without any inspections we already are really rigid in serving only fresh foods & in a very clean kitchen. But today, we passed the inspection with flying colors. Thanks to all the volunteers who obeys the AHS protocols. There are many angels in this group & they have touched many lives, alleviates the sufferings of many & have nothing to say to our poor homeless friends but kindness…it is easier to just not lift a finger to help & judge them, but at the end of the day, they too are children of God. In the next coming weeks, we will start giving out blankets, jackets, etc. Please donate any heavy blankets that you have because that could possibly be the only roofs over their heads in the deep freeze. Thank you all for supporting us. Our special volunteer for this week are Jane Cheung & her daughter. They just came & help like pros. We are very grateful. God bless you all & be safe. “Whatsoever you do to the rest of my people that you do unto me,” says the Lord God Jesus Christ.
