It was a snowy day in Butler Park on Sunday. We served around 200 servings of baked spaghetti, 100 servings of protein bowls which had barley/quinoa base with edamame, yam and pickled cabbage with a sauce packet. We had the usual pb&j, hard boiled eggs and lots of treats. Also hot chocolate and coffee with some toiletries. A couple who volunteers with us bring their boys. The young one who turned 9 this week helped his dad unload the uhaul. Thank you to St Vincent de Paul for all the extras this week. Thank you Shoppers Drug Mart for weekly donations to our friends.
