Good Monday morning everyone. Inspite of somewhat colder day yesterday at Butler Park, it was also raining a bit too & a little windy, the HELPING THE HOMELESS in the WESTEND- GOOD SAMARITANS were still able to serve a little less than 200 cups of hotmeals, we fondly called it a cowboy stew. Everybody got fed except for one very late person coz at 3:30 we were almost down to only few cups left. Our friends who are homeless, poor or just out of cash to buy food were starving & they were so greatful to have free hotmeal, breads, treats & hot coffee. We cannot thank enough the volunteers who selflessly put in their time, money & efforts into this group so that others can eat. We are not funded by any govt or org. We only rely on donations or our monies put together. Please help if you can . We need Sunday morning volunteers & afternoon ones as well. Please DM me for details. Please mark HTH in your donations. & put your full names & address. We are also very thankful for Pastor James & his parishioners of Hosanna for lending us their AHS approved kitchen. Without them we can’t do any of this. This start of winter months, we are accepting blankets, snowpants & jackets. Essential to all our homeless friend’s survival in the deep cold. Some of them has only your donated blankets as roofs over their heads on a minus 30 degrees. We wall the talk by serving our bunch of hungry people that we call our brothers & sisters. ” Peter do you love me? Feed me sheep.” Says the Lord.
