It was a beautiful day in Butler Park. Warm and sunny most of the day. We served 260 servings. Once we ran out of our soup we handed out hotdogs and potato salad. There were lots of treats, bananas, vanilla and maple explosion slab cakes, hard boiled eggs along with lots of fresh produce donated by Gardners in the west end. As usual we had Pastor Cameron serving coffee and iced tea and handing out bibles on request. Mr Wright was there with his ever popular donuts. Many thanks to the people who donated fresh produce from their gardens and fruit trees. Also thanks for the monetary donations. And Shoppers for the treats, canned goods and snacks we often get. We are not funded by any organization. Everything is donated and volunteer run.
